This mount in this kit allows you utilize the inside edge of any of the door jambs on your vehicle, regardless of the angle. The antenna stud mounts to an adjustable swivel bracket to allow you to keep the antenna vertical inspite of any left/right tilt of the door jamb. The antenna stud bracket swivels a full 180 degrees making the possible mounting applications many. You get a quality stainless steel mount and 18 ft (5.5m) of professional grade Fire-Flex coaxial cable (with FireStik's exclusive Fire-Ring connector) all in one package! The PL-259 connector (radio end) is supplied in this kit but is not installed on the coax cable.  This allows the cable to be routed into the vehicle through a smaller (0.375") hole. A grommet is supplied.  After the connector is placed on the coax, the center conductor MUST  be soldered to the PL connector
