20 meters, etc. is a tool for emergency communications and daily use.

10 meters, 11 meters (CB), 2 meters, 440/220 MHz, etc. serves as frequencies for more
localized communications.

Being able to use these frequencies requires a couple of hours of study time and taking a
no-code fairly easy to pass test.
